This is for the August challenge set by Mikeydred! Do join in the fun this month here

If you're like me, you wouldn't be a believer in luck, at least not in the conventional sense of the word.

Fortune is a little stubborn; dropping into a person's lap isn't quite her style. She needs a little help to show herself.

The harvest is there, indeed, but it needs to be reaped. And it needs the help of a willing reaper to become bountiful.

Do enjoy this Haikuplet.

Rich autumn harvest

Blades of wheat blow in the wind

Fields of corn glow gold

Wealthy fall harvest

Ripe red apples grow on trees

With help of tilled soil.

So beautiful and sensorial in a way. I would love to learn how to write haikus too. Maybe I'll give this challenge a try.

  • Yes, time and effort is always needed. Loved your Haikus!

I can see them - they have apple orchards in my state- lots of exports. Loved your haikus.
