Falling, Soundless
A Link in a Haikuplet Chain
My lover’s warm lips,
Sunshine breaks through heavy clouds,
Piercing winter’s grasp.
Cliff-face echoes hush,
smoldering a fetter. She
colors me in: blush.
A/N: This is for Kenny Penn's Haikuplet Chains Challenge! There are still six days left. Go check it out!
Though it might not be allowed, I decided to write a link to the haikuplet that Kenny wrote, accessible via the previous link. Per the rules, I kept the first haiku and wrote a different second. If anyone wants to continue it, please do! I'm enthralled by the story.
Kenny, if this isn't allowed, that's fine. I may write an extra link in case it doesn't count, hahaha. (Goodness, that might also be against the rules...) Regardless, I had fun!
