Once upon a time, there lived a father and a daughter. The daughter looked up at her father with all of her heart. With little responsibility and even smaller stature, the young girl eagerly awaited for her father to pick her up. She fidgeted, fumbled, and clung to him, terrified of falling.
He would never think of dropping her, but she kept fidgeting. Her spastic movements pried her from his grasp, forcing her small body to float gently down. What had seemed to be an eternity of crazy swinging arms and flailing legs was only a second.
Drifting through the space, the colors and lights blinding even the blind. Music blaring from every angle, deafening even the deaf. Thoughts racing down every lane of the highway of your brain. Snowballing down the mountains, threatening an avalanche any minute.
Your eyes burn from the tears that were already forming for the last minute. The sensation of what could only be blood pouring out from your eyes. It’s alarming. It’s scary.
