A Fair-ily Magical Poem

I play with them by day and night,

They hide my stuff and flick my lights.

With gnomes and butterflies outside they stay.

As their laughs and giggles brighten each day.

And when night falls and it’s time for sleep,

Into the the forest they’ll tiptoe and creep.

Sometimes they snuggle in branches of trees,

wrapping up in blankets of leaves.

Their glowing wings folded, for a good night’s rest,

They even gladly share a ladybug’s nest.

Together Softly resting they will peacefully sleep,

until the warmth of sunlight tickles their little feet.

Then up up and away they will go

To breeze through the summers

And add glow to the snow.

You see a fairies job is never done,

As Mother Nature they assist,

Painting the flowers,

Sprinkling the showers

And checking them off their lists.

Fairies are playful they like to hide.

But when you look closely,

you’re likely to find,

one hiding here or there.

And if your heart is open wide

They may stay forever by your side.

Always remember, the more you laugh

And the more you play,

The longer your fairy companions will stay.

And under the moon they’ll shine so bright,

As their wings reflect it’s silvery light.

Then in the morning a delicious fairy feast,

Of berries, cherries, nuts and seeds!

This helps the fairies stay glowing and strong,

So they can sprinkle magic,

All the day long.

Helping the trees, bees and mushrooms grow,

And painting the colors of the beautiful rainbow.

I hope you love the fairies

As much as I do.

As they make this world simply magical for you!

Mary Moon

Witchy...magicky...lefty...me!

Weaver of words and spirit of glee!

I follow my bliss and so you will see,

this helps the magic flow freely for me.

I hope in my energy a space you will find

to get lost in the magic one word at a time.
