Eyes That Threaten, Voices That Heal

They speak with eyes that burn and bind,
Dark with vengeance, warped in mind.
They name us threats, they twist the tale
But truth still walks, and love won’t fail.
They call for camps, for chains, for war,
As if our hearts were crimes to store.
But we are songs they cannot cage,
We rise in rhythm, not in rage.
Their voices crack with thirst for ultimate power
Everyone in the land of Oz dispersed
But ours are healing, unrehearsed.
We sing of light, of pink and gold,
Of archives they’ll never control.
We’ve danced in clubs they’ll never know,
Where freedom pulsates in every glow.
We’ve kissed beneath the neon skies,
While they built walls from ancient lies.
We carry names they tried to erase,
But every verse becomes a face.
We speak in poems, not in fear
Our voices ring, our truth is clear.
A voice rang out from glitch and grace,
Regina’s call, a sacred trace.
She marches now where truth won’t bend,
Our songs converge; our spirits send.
So let them glare with haunted eyes,
We’ll sing until their silence dies.
We are the ones who heal the land
With Sweetie’s tweets and open hands.

This is sooo cool. Love that song!!@ ⚡️💙 Bill⚡️
This story brings about a call for listening and living life. When “songs converge” it forms in the mind a picture of ideas kissing. I shared! —S.S.
