Eyes of Azure

Capturing the beauty of a gaze.

By Wen BrauPublished 5 months ago 1 min read

Beneath the sky, so vast and blue,

I saw the world within your view.

A gaze so deep, so pure, so bright,

Like endless seas kissed by the light.

Your eyes, two stars in twilight’s glow,

A quiet river’s gentle flow.

They hold the heavens, calm and wide,

A boundless depth where dreams reside.

The whispers of a summer breeze,

The colors painted on the seas,

Are mirrored in those eyes so fair,

A universe reflected there.

They speak of youth, of fleeting time,

Of poetry and love in rhyme.

A wistful tale, a longing sigh,

A thousand sunsets passing by.

Yet in their depths, a secret lies,

A tender ache, a soft surprise.

For beauty such as this must fade,

Like fleeting shadows trees have made.

But still, those eyes, they linger near,

A cherished thought, a vision clear.

They haunt like songs of distant shores,

A love that time cannot restore.

Oh, azure eyes, so bright, so true,

The world is softer seen through you.

Forever etched within my mind,

A treasure rare, one hard to find.
