Exhilarated

Not my first time,
submitting to a challenge;
the topic was sweet
and I thought "I can manage".
Started slow,
and then I went crazy;
I worked so hard,
you can't call me lazy.
"Write poems about love!",
well, that got me inspired,
I did thirty-two,
and I'm freaking tired.

Started writing short stories back in 1988 at work, when I had an empty page to fill for the employee's internal magazine. Taking the pen again after a 30 year-long hiatus, exploring where it takes me this time.
