Eris.

a different type of love

By SPPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

I am in love with Chaos.

She caresses me as a lover would

With broken promises

With unhealed distances

She whispers to me that I am free

Sings to me about happy anarchy

I am in love with Strife.

He angers me as a father does

With critiquing actions

With absence of compassion

He tells me that I am vengeful

Proclaims that I am self-centered

I am in love with Darkness.

They seduce me as a stranger would

With blind attraction

With fated interactions

They murmur how I can be a shadow

Beg me to crawl to the gallows

I am in love with Ruin.

They entice me as a tower does

With a way down to measure

With wax poured on feathers

And as Icarus screams into the sun

I speak softly to myself, "jump"
