she says I'm an empty canvas

in this tainted town

but white stands out

when it's dark around,

I was quiet and falling

like a fading sound

but 21, and I'm finally found.

she says I'm an empty canvas

in this paper town

so tear me out

I don't want to be around,

when the city's calling

I'll be my own sound

21 and I'm finally found.

I figured out where the lights all lead

in this life where I came, I saw

now I wonder

when I'm under

will I be your work of art?

I was faded, covered in the dark

but now, I will be my work of art.

inside out again in my head

all I see is myself

paint me wings and set me free

So I, so I can be

Myself.
