Empowered

23 years into my journey of Life,

I helped more than I can count but even now I'm still not into all it's strife.

I came along way but yet I still have so far to go,

But I don't regret anything except for the few times that I didn't share what I know.

Time after time I went Above & Beyond for those whom I've come across,

There isn't a thing I wouldn't do to make sure they felt loved; even if it meant that I would have to take a Loss.

I've motivated & inspired so many,

I did whatever it took to change Lives.

I made sure everyone was good & had more than plenty,

I'd even given go out my way to offer my home as an open door to let others know they will always have a safe place to thrive.

But then I began to help others in a way that would truly stick with them,

That accountability, & security is what really makes you feel better; all with nothing but pure pleasure.

Because the very idea of knowing someone is always there for you is more precious than any gem,

& knowing they have your well-being in mind is worth more than any treasure.

While in the midst of all those blissful moments,

I realized that no one has done a single one of those things for me.

Maybe I just didn't deserve any of those elements.

But, I finally found that one that has done all of those things & more; so that person holds a special place in my heart & will never become my enemy.

I couldn't be more blessed & loved,

That person is truly sent from the heavens above.

I owe that one person more than what I could've ever offered,

My life is truly spectacular in every way all because she made me a better person by making me feel Empowered.
