Emotionless
I felt so numb, a hollow void,
A heart once full, now destroyed.
You played your game, you wore your crown,
While I just watched as you let me drown.
You cheated, lied, and never cared,
Left me to piece what was impaired.
With every smile, with every kiss,
You sealed the end of what we missed.
You enjoyed your fun, your twisted thrill,
While I was breaking, standing still.
Now go to hell, where you belong,
Beg for my crumbs—starve and be gone.
Don’t crawl back, don’t speak my name,
I’ve washed my hands of all your shame.
Your touch is filth, your words are ash,
Buried deep in the past’s cold crash.
No second chances, no last goodbyes,
Just empty echoes, hollow lies.
You lost the best, now taste regret,
A fate deserved—you won’t forget.
I’ll rise above, I’ll stand so tall,
While you decay, you rot, you fall.
No love, no hate, just dead to me,
A ghost that fades eternally.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️

What a great poem to wash away the enemies of one's life symbolically.
