Parts One, Two, Three, and Four

***

entanglement

--our breaths

waltzing in the inches between us

time crawls

like my eyes

up

and

down

your face

did you know your eyes are not just blue stain glass

for me to peer into

but there is green there

like grass reaching for the sun

trying to get

closer

and our noses graze

a tentative eskimo kiss

and hand cradling the back of my head

as if i am glass something precious

you would never call me glass

rather i am the steel

of skyscrapers

reaching

and getting

closer

to the sun (you)

though i am not burned

but bought to life

and then

an explosion

before coming back together

into the new

us

This is the end of this small poetic series, but not the end of the story....
