There once again... is that time on the clock
The one to remind me of a love I once lost
I played with his heart and he played with my mind
Left with an ending that was anything but kind
He ran away to a different state
I stayed behind thinking I would find an even better mate
Turns out we were both wrong and our chemistry was much more strong
Years later the time still reminds us of what we once were
My cheating & lies turned his feelings into a blur
Consumed by anger & deep pain
He wanted nothing to ever do with me again
Yet, here we are...
Best of friends rekindling the companionship even better than before
A full circle that has brought us once again together
His emotions in check and her all grown up
Both knowing what they need & want
Craving to once again drown in each others desires
Their souls hungry for the physical touch
She didn't realize he meant so much
He didn't know how much he had missed her as well
Could this be their love story
