She told him she was falling fast & hard

Yet, it turns out her deck was short by one card

The king of hearts wasn't ready for his role

Even though he could feel her deep inside his soul

It was all the other parts of him that got scared & pushed her away

Now she is gone

He dared not beg her to stay

What was the point of it all...

The minute he met her he dreamed of a lady like her

To actually fall for him hard & fast

Yet, when his dreams began to develop into something real

He became the joker and ruined the entire deal
