A Poetic Reflection on the Russia-Ukraine Conflict
Amidst the rolling hills of green,
A war rages on, a tragic scene,
Brothers in arms now torn apart,
Families shattered, breaking hearts.
A land once united now divided,
By conflict and hate that's been ignited,
The drums of war, they beat so loud,
A crimson sky, a mushroom cloud.
Blood and tears, they stain the ground,
As bombs rain down, with deafening sound,
The cries of children, they fill the air,
A world in chaos, it's hard to bear.
But hope still shines amidst the gloom,
A chance for peace, a ray of moon,
May wisdom guide the leaders' hand,
To bring an end to this harsh land.
For in the end, we are but one,
A global family under the sun,
Let us lay down our arms and strife,
And choose instead, a peaceful life.
