Echoes of Forgotten Laughter

Poem.

By Danny Prem kumarPublished about a year ago 1 min read

**Echoes of Forgotten Laughter**

In quiet halls, where shadows play,

The echoes of old laughter stay.

A gentle sound, now faint and thin,

A trace of joy once held within.

The walls remember every cheer,

The moments lost, but still so near.

Through time and silence, they remain,

A whisper of that sweet refrain.

Forgotten faces, voices bright,

That filled the air with pure delight.

Now only echoes softly fall,

Like distant chimes, a fading call.

Yet in those echoes, warmth persists,

A memory the heart still twists.

For though the laughter’s long been stilled,

Its echoes leave the soul fulfilled.
