*The Silence of Winter Nights*
The silence of winter nights descends,
A quiet that the cold air sends,
Soft snowflakes kiss the frozen ground,
Where only whispers can be found.
The moonlight casts a silver glow,
On fields of white and trees of snow,
Each star a distant, frozen flame,
That flickers in the sky, untamed.
The world is hushed beneath the frost,
A stillness found, but never lost,
As winter wraps the earth in peace,
And all the restless sounds must cease.
In this soft silence, hearts can hear,
The quiet beauty, calm, and clear,
That winter brings in cold embrace,
A tranquil, timeless, sacred space.
