Oh you who sits above men in this land;
Have you forgotten that death sits above you?
To have pillaged entire civilizations with such pride
Have you no mercy? Or children of your own to remind the groin of the pain of life?
Across the valleys and the mountains, the soil has become barren,
Mothers have their stomachs tied as their wombs twist in agonized lamentation,
Who should they turn to when their children lie cold, forgotten, like they were never here?
Their wails drowned out by the triumphant clapping in board rooms oceans away
Minds of the common man come together only to part,
In the boardrooms, the applause continues until mothers stop their mourning;
But be warned you men and women in suits,
When the clouds become pregnant, the rain of discernment will sweep across the nations;
Then, and only then, cursed as you are, will death descend to your level to look you in the eyes
