Dry Be Thy Desert

A testament to ones mind when nothing is coming to fruition

The mind is a desert of a whole other type,

Its fruit is sometimes dry and takes forever to become ripe.

But this is the life of those who write,

For the mind needs inspiration to see the light.

Often we get sidetracked by life's hallucinations,

Making us wish we were off on vacations.

However, one must strive to find the hidden gold in the sand,

If one wants to be fruitful in this barren land.

A drop in the bucket is all it takes to get the best out of nothing,

Never lose hope and eventually you will bring forth something.
