Oh!! The metaphor within this is so genuine!! I love the idea that if we willingly burry our heads in the sand then no one will be able to warn us before we drown. Or if no one votes then we won't have the leader we need!

I thought this was about climate change and then read the authors note. Context changed and I realized there are far scarier things occurring than Halloween soon.
