"They've promised that dreams can come true. But forgot to mention that nightmares are dreams, too." ~Oscar Wilde

We all know how dreams work. Its not necessarily common knowledge. I normally start off dreaming in REM sleep. Even before I fall asleep, I dream. I create worlds or reimagine our own world through the eyes of a dreamer who dreams.

///

I dream. Dream floods the mind and for a second you feel whole. I dream of whales with winged fins. I dream of fairytales and music and sometimes, I dream of who I hope to become. Who I wish I was. Who I am now.

///

Sometimes, in the land of dreams. There lurks evil. And yet, its there. "The winged whales are beautiful aren't they? But what if we turned the wings into flame and ash?" They say. "No." I say. "I want to dream!"

///

You can reclaim your calm and dream once more. That's why you don't remember your scares. You can call out the evil, but the evil still lurks.

///

The next time you dream, you dream of famine, of longing, and starvation. You dream of rotten fairytales and horrible screams. The screams of the damned. The evil will once again speak to you, "I can make this all stop." it says. "But for a price." they say. "No." I say. "I want to dream!"

///

Peace, calm and serenity. Then when you dream again. Its a whirlwind of anxeity and sadness. Those dreams turn to screams. You dream your on the edge of a cliff with nowehere to run. Below you lays the pit of Tartarus. With all the night terrors you can think of. "Do you want to dream?" The evil asks. "Are you sure?" it says. "I'll only ask once. Which do you prefer? Dreams, Scares, or Night Terrors?"
