Something in the way you look at me
I could always dream that hiding there
Lingering in every glowing smile
Everything I wished for hid itself in wordless glances.
Not that I could ever dare to ask what you
Conceal behind
Every silent moment.

For someone who claims to be as dense as you do; you seem to know a lot about love.
Nice poem....congrats
This poem reads like a touch that lingers
I like the way there’s depth behind what the speaker can see, but they’re not sure whether it’s what they hope for. “wordless glances.” indeed!
HEEEEEEYYYY!!! Look at you Mr. Honourable Mention!!! Proud of you!! 🎉
This is such a wonderful acrostic poem - don't know how I missed it when it first posted. Just wanted to reach out and say 'congratulations' for winning Honorable Mention on this week's leaderboard for Most Discussed Stories.
Love this!!! ❤️❤️💕 Congratulations on the Leaderboard win!¡
Why not? Half the pleasure of a secret is the sharing of it 😁
I love this. Very powerful. ❤️
This is lovely. What is lingering in that smile indeed. Well done.
Oh the power of eye contact, I'm a sucker for it! Lol. It's soooo hot!! I don't know if this was what you were going for but looks like Donna saw it my way too hehehehe. Loved your poem so much!
This might be the wine talking.... but this felt kind of sultry to me. Like that moment in a book/ movie/ life when two characters feel that charge and they finally see each other.
Nice poem, Alex.
