An Inspirational Poem
The Universe exhorts forgiveness. We all know that it is a beautiful message that’s difficult to decipher, process, listen to, and finally, align with.
Recent experiences have taught me about the importance of forgiving -it’s what we should do - but letting go within boundaries. It does not mean condoning inappropriate actions, but protecting the emotions we’re entitled to. We decide how that best works for us.

Feathers with Freedom’s scent, within gilded iron bars,
Dove’s wings brush the wind, never rising above the cage’s bounds,
Eyes scan the vast blue sky, yearning within periphery,
Seeds taste ever dry, a promise of life without flight,
I hear forgiveness’ coo, echoing gently off the bars.
