Please don’t harm the spider,
She really is your mate.
She keeps them pesky blow flies
From buzzing round the plate.

Anyone wondering why the sudden increase in output of short verse on my part, I can only say that the reasons are threefold:
- I have been spending lots of time in the garden and outdoors recently, which has provided huge inspiration,
- There has been much motivation from other Vocal creators who have been producing some brilliant poetry of late and,
- Having announced my book of collected verse and given a publication date, I realise that the volume will be a little thin and is in need of some plumping up. I sincerely hope the resulting speed verse does not appear too quick and over-simple. Anyways, it will help pad out the space between the front and back covers.
Please feel free to tell me "No, Ray, don't put that one in!" about any of my little ditties if you think it won't do me any good publishing it in the collection.
Here are some details of the upcoming book of collected verse
As always: thanks for reading.

this is wonderful padding!
Wonderful
Hehehehhe I always say "hi" to the spider whenever I come across any. Loved your poem!
Not ready to buy into the logic with this one. My Arachnophobia prohibits such!
How true for some spiders. Spiders are wonderful for such an ugly insect unless they are like Charlotte from Charlotte's Web. HaHa. Good work on the verse.
