Don't Dig Own Ditch

Make good life choices

By Seema PatelPublished 6 months ago 1 min read

East or West,

developing or developed,

Hindu, Muslim, Christian,

it doesn’t matter.

The world is alike.

Sensationalism thrives,

knowledge is shirked.

India is going crazy

over a love story,

movie release,

while USA is busy

talking and sharing,

CEO scandal in concert,

endless memes,

flooding Instagram.

In Facebook group,

on thyroid diseases,

women showing puffy faces

and scars in the neck

seeking empathy.

If they had dared,

to show freckles,

or skin issues,

they could have saved,

self from harmful chemicals

avoided this suffering.

People, don’t act silly,

life is finite,

time is flying,

make good choices,

seek fun, but wisely,

don’t dig own ditch.

Good advice when reading into it and good job in making us think about subjects we usually do not think about.
