Dolphins Swim

And on certain days at the beach, you can see them swimming. And it reminds you of something.

Dolphins in the surf

in their own turf.

Swimming, leaping,

never weeping.

The world is theirs,

the rightful heirs.

They own the sea,

no sorrow's plea.

They always play

in the ocean spray.

They never fret,

no anger met.

The surf matters not

nor the weather, cold or hot.

What matters is life

and not its strife.

To the depths they swim,

without a whim.

Then they rush up

With an acrobat's jump.

Freedom they are!

like a shining star.

They live no lie

for their grace will never die.
