Sand and shovel days
Building sandcastles to live in
Leaving footprints along the shore
Greeting a new sunrise
Enjoying life’s simple pleasures
Running to catch the wind
Dancing in the rain
Trying to catch butterflies
Looking forward to each new tomorrow
Wishing you had time to borrow
Daydreaming on a rainy day
Waving to a rainbow arching across the sky
Living so hare your heart might break
Music with a beat you had to dance to
Tripping the light fantastic
Kisses sweeter than wine
Nights spent by candlelight
Drifting away a with thoughts of yesterday
A smile as wide as a river
Burning bridges behind you
Finding a place to call home
Hearing a loving voice on the phone
Straying down memory lane
Knowing nothing is the same
Living for today
Hoping for a brighter tomorrow
That comes from whispers of all your yesterdays
Finding the love of your life
Putting your worries behind you
Wishing time would not fly
Holding on, Holding on
Singing just one more song
Hoping to stay strong
Do you remember when?
