Do you feel love
when you're on your own,
when you're a ghost,
when you're searching for something you're missing?
-
Do you feel love
when you leave me alone,
when you crawl across my grave,
when you find the thing you're missing?
-
Do you feel love
when they pull me from the dirt,
when they wash my bones clean,
when they find your mark?
-
Do you feel love?
I know I don't.

That was such a heartbreaking poem. 💔 Wonderful imagery, and a great contrast in pairing love and death. Well done. 💜
Oooof, what an excellent poem, with a hard-hitter of an ending - nicely done!
Oh damn, that last line broke me. Wow, this was fast and furious and felt like hitting a brick wall at the end. So good, Amanda!
