Do Flowers Die In Snow

Do you ever wonder the silliest wonders

Do flowers die in the snow,

their vibrant laughter muffled

by the weight of winter’s breath?

Do they fold in silence,

cradled by the chill,

their colorful eyes dimmed,

the world turns to white silence?

Yet, beneath that icy shroud,

do they dream of sunlight,

of the gentle kiss of spring’s arrival,

the soft murmur of the earth,

reawakening, rebirthing?

Do they remember blooming,

the caress of warm winds,

children laaugh making a snow man

In this frozen stillness,

the flowers may appear to fade,

but life, oh sweet life,

is but a whisper away,

a promise held within

the heart of the soil,

waiting to rise,

to unfurl in glorious rebirth.

In the quiet, they linger,

not truly lost,

but resting,

holding on to the fleeting thought

that love is a cycle,

and every winter,

a reminder of spring’s gentle embrace—

yes, flowers may seem to die in snow,

but deep down,

they know they will bloom again
