By George’s Girl 2024
Do not touch or smell the rose
In twilight’s glow, a rose does bloom,
With soft, bright petals to mask the gloom.
Cast by a witch with a darkened spell,
This lovely flower hides secrets to tell.
Its fragrance tempts with a gentle sigh,
Yet poison waits if you dare to try.
thorns pierce your heart, beware this tale,
For hurt will bind you, lost in love's veil.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️
