Divorce hurts and wounds the children
So much heartbreak š

Divorce hurts and wounds the children
Divorce casts a shadow, cold and wide,
Where once was warmth, now hearts divide.
In silent rooms, the children lie,
With lots of sad questions,
and answers they don't understand.
They watch as worlds are torn apart,
Confusion nesting in each heart.
A tug-of-war they never chose,
In battles where loveās doorways close.
Their laughter fades to distant echoes,
As trustās foundation cracks and shows.
They carry scars, unseen, profound,
Innocence lost without a sound.
Oh, may we find a gentler way,
To shield our young from such dismay.
For in their eyes, the pain is clear,
Divorce is cruel, the children suffer.
