Distant Romance
Online dating usually ends in breakup.

Virtual love is a strange romance
Distance separates our shared love
Across the distant waters
Our romance fades away
Slowly over time
Until the day
Finally
The love
Dies

Beautiful and sad at the same time also the image synchronizes so well with it!
Beautiful. ❤️
One thing I'll say about this poem while writing it. Using the site Vocal is using to count syllables, it threw me off that it counts "our" as one syllable even though I can't think of any way that it can be pronounced as one syllable. But other than that I enjoyed making it. Capturing the how the long distance kills off the romance over time when there can't be any physical connection with someone. Very few long-distance romances last if they can't close the distance within a year.
