But spreading around the world

Dissolved

No one walks into a marriage

wanting it to end,

No one sees the sky and

wishes it would fall on them.

Our love has dissolved into the rivers

taken there by my tears

as I drive around Somerset

to be shared with the world by the rain.

heartbreak

This poem was so lovely, but it also gave me a sad feeling at the same time. Thanks for sharing.

You were always better at beautiful words than me.

  • This was so poignantly beautiful. Loved your poem!

  • And Charlie Brown remains there standing upon the pitcher's mound as the sky tumbles down upon him.

  • Sadly beautiful
