Discovering my aura in spring
A reflection on spring
By Jennifer SakarianPublished 5 years ago • 1 min read

Green
Was the color
my aura
Said hello
To my eye lids
Closed
Green like the spring
Breathing
Pulsing
Pushing
up
Life and love
Green like birth
And calm
So calm
And inhale
In
Sweet green smells
Exhale out
Gold said hello
I’m here too
I’m grounding and so pure
I’ll keep you tethered to
Your sweet soul
of our collective mother
so she can sing us to sleep
in springs sweet wet slumber
when cardinals wake us up
in the morning
every morning
to say sweet
things
red flashes from windowsills
sweet calls and
trills
and thrills
green like the Earth
waking up
in northern hemispheres
grounded
ground ivy
I see you
I smell you
breathing in
and
exhaling
green life out.
