Dis...appear

A Poem

By Wes BarcliftPublished 4 months ago 1 min read

Dis…appear

I learned to see in the dark

By breathing into the dark

I shape sight without light

By not needing a response

An echo without a

Location

I move in the dark

By letting go of my way

I find myself

By dissolving that word

I exist there without fear

By not needing a here

You appear in the dark

When I can no longer see

Your shape is the absence

Of my senses

I step outside of existence

By releasing all that could be:

My eyes

Are closed

To see
