with neighbor friends?
Don’t you think that the weather today is going to get better?
Nah’ It’s so cloudy and you know that means, “get wetter!”
I heard that Sally’s daughter will soon be getting married!
Yeah, the poor, dumb groom doesn’t know he’ll get buried…
They both have good jobs and will make sure Sally is taken care of.
Humph! They’ll sell her house, and into the nursing home shove!
The preacher really outdid himself on Sunday's good sermon.
Sigh! If you like preaching on God's laws broken by the vermin.
I hope the weather hasn't caused the arthritis pain to your knees.
Well, my husband could care less as long as I fetch his crackers & cheese.
I think I'll make potatoes and meatloaf for tonight's dinner.
Dear, make it with less salt and pepper and it might be a winner.
So, I'll see you and the Mister around seven tonight?
Yes, but no salad please, because the last one tasted of blight.

Objective: Write a story that includes, at some point, the sentence, "I did what I had to do." Regrets? I have many, of course. But I have no time to feel indebted to them...the regrets. They can be quite demanding of a person's soul and purpose, after all. I don't mind paying my dues, but I won't be cheated out of living. I simply won't allow that.
