"Why all the griping? Either stare or start typing?"
"Not everyone has your drive, I'm busier than a beehive."
"This is hard. Do we have to keep rhyming?”
“No, it was funny, but there are limits to how far I’ll strive”
“Have you finished the next chapter? You got me invested”
“Yes, but I’m wondering if there’s conflict enough.”
“You mean how far your characters should be tested?”
“Finding the balance for a happy ending can be tough.”
“If I shout through a wall, you’re doing it right”
"*cackles in Writer* Your tears are my pleasure."
"*cackles in Reader* I’m ending our date night”
"Yeah, right. I'm your treasure."
Heavily inspired by actual date night conversations with my beloved, who is also my editor and beta reader.
