Diamonte Tautogram — Kind Of
Is there such a thing in poetry
Tautogram
Timely terror
Traumatic to thee
The testament to time
This taboo tactful talent
The theory to take to therapy
This tablet to take to the tabloid
Ten teens too tense to take to tea
Try the taffy taste to talk to this team
The trick times 3 to tempt them 10 teens today
Then there the tattoo tagging, that tat too tactless to taut
Time to take the talent to the theatre takeover too
These 10 take their time to travel to Timbuktu
They talk to the Troup to thank them
Take time talking to the team tech
Then 3 tailors thanked them too
Trauma therapy took the terror
Time to try this
T to tell
3 tall
Tails
Tautograms!

Challenge: Write a poem where every word starts with the same letter. (I’m not sure whose challenge this was! I like the idea of a word game.)
A tautogram is basically a fancy term for a word game where every word starts with the same letter or sound. It’s like alliteration, but taken to the extreme! It can be a fun way to play with language and create a memorable effect in writing or speech, as well as an effective way to challenge yourself as a writer.
Diamonte is 7 lines — comparing or contrasting two separate things. This poem doesn’t quite fit the daimonte format.
Authors note: I could add nonsense poem to the above, but it makes sense to me.
