Detective Brown's Guilty Gut Feeling

H6

By James GreenPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Detective Brown sat in the interrogation room,

With a suspect, who would soon meet his doom,

He was accused of a crime, and had to take a lie-detector test,

But Detective Brown, was not impressed,

She twiddled her monocle, and raised her brow,

As the suspect passed the test, with a vow,

But Detective Brown, wasn't satisfied,

She knew in her gut, he had lied,

She pressed on with her questioning,

But the suspect kept on insisting,

That he was innocent, and had nothing to hide,

But Detective Brown, was not swayed by his pride,

She knew he was guilty, and had to be caught,

So she scheduled him for another round of tests, she had fought,

And with her keen eye and detective's intuition,

She would not rest, until she found the true solution.
