Detective Brown's Cat and Mouse Game

Detective Brown was on a mission,

To catch a thief, with a tricky disposition,

He stole identities, without a trace,

Leaving victims, in a difficult place,

But this thief, was different from the rest,

He left clues, for Detective Brown to test,

She followed the trail, with her keen eye,

Determined to catch, this thief on the fly,

She tracked him down, to a secluded place,

But when she arrived, he was gone without a trace,

She searched high and low, but found no trace,

Of the thief who, left the human race.

As she continued her pursuit,

The thief, was always one step ahead,

He left her puzzles, to solve and clues to find,

But never enough, to pin him to a crime

She knew, he was playing a game,

But she couldn't let him, live in fame,

She continued to chase, with a burning desire,

But the thief, always seemed to slip through the wire.

The case remained open, with no leads,

And the thief, continued to steal identities with ease,

Detective Brown never caught him,

But the chase, was a game, he couldn't win.
