Destiny can't be Change

What happens to people who disappear?

Don't you ever wonder

But soon they are forgotten

No one ever remembers they existed

That is how it works

When they are gone

We don't know what happens

It is known that is rarely pleasant

Sadly it is their fate

Destiny cannot be changed

We must wonder why they are chosen right?

Or are we glad it just isn't us?

They aren't chosen because it is a punishment 

I think

Not at all

Actually, usually they are the best of us

They are the strongest

So instead of them being forgotten

These people deserve to be honored

For they are the greatest of us all

And they sacrifice themselves for us

Our security, safety, peace of mind

They may not have this or chosen it but

Held on

So we could have a chance to survive
