Driven by increments of motion, infinite seconds line up in a single file queue to produce a discernible continuum.
Escaping the womb, my designation in this uncharted world began with the loving embrace of a mother’s arms.
She's guided by maternal instinct; no compass or maps needed to navigate her purposeful existence on this
tranquil earth. Destinations are limitless in the great expanse but not everyone knows where they are going—
introspection won't always choose the correct path, especially when nowhere is the only place to go.
Neither you, nor I, auditioned for the roles we play. Life is impromptu, made of a substance only leaps and bounds can ever
assimilate. Now that age is apparent, riddled with more than just wrinkles, I review this used canvas overwrought with knowledge and fractured love
to arrive at a new position in time called wisdom.
I know what was expected in this miniscule blink of yesterday, but the question remains, did I ever get there?
Oftentimes, I break free of the quietude to just live as I see fit, not caring about hurdles that travel alongside.
Never once did regret change my direction, yet it's a word that can hinder the delicate flow of weaving fabric into wanted memories.
Sinner or saint, our final checkpoint is something we have in common. Let’s traverse each day without fear or judgement. We are the impetus…
A/N: This challenge required a min of 12 lines, I decided to use the only 12-letter word in the word prompts (destinations) to do a 12-line acrostic. Other words used: Escaping, uncharted, guided, compass, tranquil, world, navigating, nowhere, canvas, yesterday, quietude, miniscule, expanse and free.
