Derailleur Words
For Penny Fuller's "Part D: The A-Z of Unusual Words" Challenge

Introduction
This is for Penny Fuller's "Part D: The A-Z of Unusual Words" Challenge which you can read about below.
The music is "My White Bicycle", Nazareth's more muscular cover of the Tomorrow song.
What Derailleur Means To Me
Has a teenager all my bikes had Derailleur gears, I think they were all made by Sturmey Archer and I remember John Peel playing a song called "Sturmey Archer Kid" possibly by the band After The Fire but there is no trace of it on the World Wide Web and that was a bit of a shock.
In the Half Main Half Biscuit song, "A Lilac Harry Quinn", the coda reads:
Sturmey-Archer Campagnolo x 6
Sturmey-Archer Campagnolo on my mind
You can read and listen here:
It was great being able to change gear but the number of times the chain came off required rethreading the chain, but that had to be done to get back on the road.
Now the poem which will make no sense:
Derailleur Words
Sturmey Archer Campagnolo
Or Maybe It's A Shimano
The First One Was Le Chemineau
From Italy, Vittoria
Tommaso and Amadeo
Kharkhov Gave Us Campagnolo
Riding My Bake And On The Go
How Derailleur Works, I Don't Know
Huret's Jubilee Came On Show
Then Campagnolo Nuovo
That's Quite Enough, Now I'll Go
