Defeating the Stigmatism

It's okay to not be okay.

Roses are red, violets are blue, I'm a little crazy and so are you.

There's this awful stigmatism when it comes to mental health,

But not when it comes to any other organ or body part.

When you have the flu they give you antibiotics,

When you have depression they tell you it's in your head, get over it.

Well, no fucking shit.

Of course it's in my head, that's where I store my brain.

My brain is sick and I'm told to just get over it?

You wouldn't say that if I cut off my hand would you?

"Oh, well. Sorry about that, It's just a hand get over it. Good news, you have a second hand!"

What the actual fuck.

I get it's in my head.

My brain is sick, the most important organ in my body and there's nothing you can do to make it better?

No antibiotic to help with the illness?

When I have a car accident you send me to physio therapy.

But when my brain is sick you send me to get a lobotomy and keep me locked up for the rest of my life or until I fake it enough and call me "cured."
