Deep sight.

I could live a lifetime in the quiet,

Unseen by the crowd, unmarked by the light…

For what is a spotlight but a fleeting blaze,

Too bright to see the beauty in the shadows?

I would rather stand in the stillness,

Be the overflowing river of love,

Pouring out to those too weary to chase,

To those who bloom in the sidelines’ embrace.

If everyone stares at the stars that burn,

Who will see the moon’s soft, patient glow?

Who will notice the whispers of grace

In the unnoticed corners where life quietly grows?

I do not crave the dazzling roar;

I crave the hum of hearts unseen,

The gentle strength, the steady core,

The love that ripples beneath the gleam.

For to be “average” is to be whole,

And to be whole is to be enough—

A river that flows without asking to shine,

A quiet soul that holds the divine.

The moon’s soft glow,

Lost in stars that shine so bright.

Yet even the stars differ in their might.

Do you not see?

We are all uncertainties in the spotlight,

For no single light can shine for long.

It’s a light we must share—

You and I, unique as we are,

Beautiful in ways only the heart can measure.

What the stethoscope observes cannot define us,

Its view is narrow, blind to the whole.

We are not the charts or shapes it sees,

But individuals with boundless souls.

Average in plain sight,

Infinite in deep sight.

The sight that takes the time to look within.

It is through this lens we must learn to see—

To witness the beauty in you and me.
