It is something I do not

want to do,

but in the end I will

be fine without you.

The sweet lies that I

tell myself tastes like

strawberries, beer, and

cigarettes.

Deep sigh,

as I contemplate the

times my warning bells

went off.

I am a fool,

because there were none,

and I am left undone,

yearning for the caress

of your smile and

intellect. Holding

on to words and moments

I do not regret.

Deep sigh,

Hold up your head

and rise Queen.

It is something I do not

want to do,

but in the end

I'll be fine

without you.
