You kissed me
and it felt like I was sinking into
the deep blue.
Unafraid, the water supported me
as I sank.
It was warm;
the sunlight brilliant,
shining through pockets of
freedom on the water’s surface.
The kiss melted away any fears
I had, about you, about us.
It only managed to envelop me
in a cocoon,
waiting for my rebirth.
Weightless, floating,
I exist in space,
neither in a vacuum nor a curse.
I am your every question,
yet inside you are the answers.
