Dear Jane,

You’d address me as your close confidant, friend, I’d know this was true, and I know you pray for me, as I have prayed for you. It hurts me to know you’ve left, truly. I’ve missed you so badly, every moment and every day. You left me alone and I am writing to you even though you will never read it or respond.

I at the very least wanted to keep your friendship, Jane. That was so important to me.

If your double flame were to show up suddenly after these long years of no contact or communication, would you forget me? Would you forget all my letters, poems and stories of and to you? My intense love for you? I’m a man after all, you can’t expect me not to say these things and not be jealous of someone else.

But, it matters not. None of it does. I guess I will try to be happy with my fate with my Raven wife.

She is trying to be better, though mad and sad she is.

I miss you still, my dear, and I always will pray for you, love you and miss you.

Love,

Edward
