Dear Grandma,
Thank you for making me strong,
for making me know I belong.
I know you weren't here long,
but inside my heart, you are a song.
Without a doubt,
your beauty showed inside and out.
Missing you makes me want to shout.
It's saddening that you can't see your grandkids sprout.
We all miss your kind heart the most
and being with you on the lake's coast.
You didn't deserve the diagnosed
and now you're a ghost.
I see you in birds and butterflies.
Then missing you amplifies.
To you, I told no lies.
You're the one I idolize.
Sincerely, Rene
