Dear Full Moon

Some will swoon

I was hoping by noon

you will be a balloon

nothing more than a halfmoon

~

Atleast every third moon

like it was this fullmoon

I could tell two days before

I would be affected even more

than I had hoped for.

~

Law enforcement knows

In hospital ERs, it shows

Mental health crisis centers know

what certain full moons will show

It was my turn not to have a glow

~

Oh no, it will fade, not yet though

Some take longer than others I know

Some of your moons can take eight

or nine days to shake. I do relate

to the effects of the full moon

I've heard that there is truth to this trend! Nicely written!

I have always found it interesting how the full moon can affect people, particularly those with a mental illness. Nice job, Denise.

I really liked this one for I was a mental health nurse, and the full moon is not a joke. Good job.
